BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Former UB All-American Javon McCrea is getting another shot at the NBA. He's set to play for the Brooklyn Nets in the upcoming Las Vegas Summer League.
McCrea, a native of Newark, is back stateside after playing the past season over in Germany, where he averaged nearly 15 points and over five rebounds a game.
McCrea now plans on using his past 12 months of professional experience to better prepare him for this opportunity.
"In the beginning of the season, I went through a lot of hard times and I struggled a bit. Once I got it and got more confident in my game, now I know what to do next season when I go into the next season and see everything might not go well, but I got to be prepared."
This is his second stint in the Summer League, after playing with the Mavericks last year.
