My experience with UB's MoBULL Pass and why you should give it a try

It's been a while since I've really written anything and given recent events I felt compelled to share my experience using UB's new mobile ticketing program, the MoBULL Pass.

Before this year's football season I was hesitant to buy football and basketball season tickets due to my work schedule being a bit hectic - 12-16 hour days could happen meaning mid-week #MACtion would be difficult to attend. In addition to that I had been traveling for work at a clip of at least a week per month for about the first year of my career so I couldn't justify in my mind spending the money on season tickets when there would be a good chance that I couldn't attend all of the games.

So now that both men's and women's basketball are doing as well as they are and now that my personal life and my career have settled down a bit I decided that I should get to as many games as possible. I remembered that before football started that UB announced the MoBULL Pass program and it seemed pretty interesting and up until a couple weeks ago I had forgotten about it.

After doing a bit of digging I decided on the 10-ticket package for the MoBULL Pass and I immediately redeemed tickets for the Men's Hoops games against Northern Illinois this past Tuesday night. The site that is used to redeem the tickets and manage your account is really slick and I found it quite easy to use. You can redeem up to 10 tickets at a time for a single event and can buy more blocks of either 10 or 30 tickets at any time.

I thought this program was perfect for someone like me, who, had a pretty hectic schedule and required flexibility when choosing events to attend. The MoBULL Pass provides that, where you can redeem your tickets on a moments notice whenever you're ready.

I'm not sure if any other schools are using a similar program, but I think that if UB markets this right they could start to pull in more locals that wouldn't otherwise attend events because of the flexibility that it provides.

I really enjoyed it and figured I'd share my experience and maybe if you're in a situation like me and want to attend more often maybe give it a try, the 10 ticket package starts at 100 and you can't really beat $10 per ticket, considering how well both basketball teams are playing and how loaded football looks for next year.
