I've often wondered how loud the fans sound when you're down on the playing field. I know when I'm up in the stands, it doesn't seem like it's all that loud. Last night I helped out with "Event Staff" for the Monseniour Martin football playoffs. I spent quite a bit of time down at field level. I was very surprised how loud it was down there. I would estimate that each team had fewer than a thousand fans there, but when they were making noise for their team, it was very loud down on the field.

I guess what I'm saying is, when we have our team at home, be loud, be proud. You're louder than you might think. It makes a difference. 22,000 strong.
