Chicago Bears invite Buffalo Bulls Lineman Jasen Carlson to Rookie Camp

Another Buffalo Bull is going to get his shot at the pro's this spring. Jasen Carlson one of the best linemen to come out of Western New York's prep arena is going to the Chicago Bears rookie camp. As a freshman Carlson saw action immediately at Buffalo and saw action in 33 games with 26 starts. Carlson's 2013 campaign was cut short when he suffered a broken leg against UMass.

The 6 foot 3 inches Carlson checked in about about 330 pounds back when the Bulls kicked off against Ohio State. He is a strong offensive lineman who's blocking skills made him an all conference selection. Over his three years as a starter he showed a great combination of speed and strength.

The injury ended his season and put him on a road to recovery that took several months. Back before UB's pro day Carlson told Bull Run that "The leg is 100%". He went on to say he got completely cleared back in April but but his leg has been feeling great for a couple of months.

Now he is going to have a chance to prove it in Chicago where former UB Bull Trevor Scott is also fighting to make the roster.
