Steve Geltz - Tampa Bay

By most measures Steve Gelt had another great week as a short reliever for Tampa Bay. Though as the week wound down the Red Sox roughed up Geltz in extra Innings to hand him a loss.

When the game went to extra innings, the Rays turned to their recently perfect reliever, Steve Geltz. Unfortunately, his run of success came to an end on Friday. After giving up two baserunners, and managing to get two outs, a base hit by Brock Holt scored Mookie Betts, 4-3 Red Sox.

Tom Murphy - New Britain (AA)

Murphy is swinging with power but his batting average to .153 over his past ten games. That brought his once scorching 340+ average down to .252 on the season.

Jazon Kanzler - Fort Myers (A+)

After Kanzler climbed from an 0-20 something start all the way to a .250 batting average he has cooled off. He has been 2 for 16 in his last four games bringing the season average to .238.

Mike Burke - Delmarva (A)

Burke had just one appearance on the mound but it was a 2.2 inning show. He gave up three hits and no runs during a nine to seven victory.

Nick Sinay - Bluefield (ROK)

Sinay been having trouble getting hits so far but the rookie left fielder always finds a way to get on base. Pinch hitting in the 9th Sinay was hit by a pitch, moved to third on the next hit, and then scored on a passed ball.
