Steve Geltz - Tampa Bay
Geltz continues to be a late inning fixture for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. The right handed pitcher has appeared in 28games, averaging a little less than one inning per appearance. Of players for tampa with more than 25 innings pitched Geltz has the third best ERA on the team.
Oh. He also took the first pitch from Paula Abdul and got a kiss on the cheek.
Tommy Murphy - New Briton (AA)
Murphy has hit something of a cold snap. In his last ten games he is batting just .239 with a single home run. Most of the damage was done by Hartford who kept Murphy to 2 for 13 at the plate in a four game series.
Since then he is starting to rebound and before the slump started Geltz was batting well over .300 and seemed to be poised to move to AAA this summer.
If he gets back to form that move could still happen.

Jason Kanzler - Fort Myers Miracle (A+)
Kanzler is battling to build off of his solid season last year. He came in looking like he might be making the jump to AA ball after helping the miracle to win their first title last season and the started the year going "0 for" on his first 20 plus at bats.
Then he got hot. Taking that 0.00 batting average up to to the 250's with a solid first three weeks of May. Then he got injured and had to sit for almost a month.
Mike Burke - Delmarva Shorebirds (A)
Burke is still adjusting to A ball. He took his first loss on May 31st and has an ERA of about 5. But there have been glimpses that he will end up playing as well for Delmarva as he was with Aberdeen. His first action saw him put down six straight batters.
Heck of a debut for Mike Burke out of the Shorebirds 'pen, as he pitches two perfect innings. Last chance for Delmarva, down 5-1 in the 9th.

Tyler Mautner - Elizabethton Twins (ROK)
Mautner suffered an injury during spring training and that's a part of the reason he finds himself back with the Minnesota Twins rookie team, Elizabethton. Rookie teams don't start playing until a few weeks after the draft so Tyler's season has not started yet.
His first game will be next Tuesday against Bluefiled.
Nick Sinay - Bluefield (ROK)
Sinay was just drafted by Toronto and will likely end up playing for Bluefield. So if he sees the field in his first game he may be looking at Mautner on the other side.
