Alex Curts was one of the early Jeff Quinn recruits of 2014. He took a late June visit and UB's then-head coach offered the 6'3", 253 pound lineman on the spot. The second team all Ohio Capital Conference player told Bull Run that he really liked the "vibe he got from the coaches and the staff. " Most of his interaction with the UB football staff was between himself and Buffalo coaches Jeff Quinn and Alex Wood. Curts singled out these two coaches as being a big factor in his commitment to Buffalo. Despite his offensive line prowess Curts was being recruited by the Bulls with the defensive line in mind. Like every other pre-Leipold commit he may end up on either side of the ball, though its not hard to see him ending up on defense. |
