Ostensibly these posts are to focus on the weekend upcoming, and this one will in a paragraph or two I promise, but right now we need to talk about how September is ending.
September is ending. Men's Soccer has passed the halfway mark of their season, but Cross Country is barely ramped up. I'm writing Swimming and Diving previews and Volleyball is only just getting around to playing a home match or two. We won't have a busy stretch like we saw in the middle of the month for a while, but October brings fully nine different teams to competition, plus we're going to have to talk wrestling previews in the second half the month. If you had any lingering feelings of summer, ditch them, because September is ending.
Before then, we've got a pretty good week in front of us, with five home games among the four sports in competition:
THURSDAY
Volleyball: Akron, 7:00 PM
Men's Soccer: @ Stony Brook, 7:00 PM
FRIDAY
Women's Tennis: West Virginia Invitational, All Day
Women's Soccer: Ohio, 7:00 PM
SATURDAY
Women's Tennis: West Virginia Invitational, All Day
Volleyball: Akron, 7:30 PM
SUNDAY
Women's Tennis: West Virginia Invitational, All Day
Women's Soccer: Kent State, 7:00 PM
Men's Soccer: Cornell, 5:00 PM

John and I will as always be live Sunday at 10:00 PM podcasting the weekend, and you'll get recaps as games happen (and UB wins pile up). Enjoy
