This year's men's basketball schedule is slowly being pieced together with every schedule announcement. According to their website, Daemen has scheduled an exhibition game with the Bulls for November 4th at 7:00 PM. Daemen is coming off of a 19-10 season in Division II play. Their NCAA Tournament hopes were washed away when St. Thomas Aquinas defeated them 80-63 in the East Coast Conference Championship game.
This is the second year in a row that the Bulls will square off with the Wildcats as a tune up for the regular season. Last year, Buffalo struggled early on before running away with an 87-68 win. The game was highlighted by a shocking 25 point debut by then freshman CJ Massinburg. Just like last year, the athletics department made a smart move when scheduling this game for a Friday night. The last four Friday night games have seen a much higher student turnout than average and it's likely the same will happen.
The rest of Buffalo's out of conference schedule is expected to be unveiled later this month.
