After last weeks performance, Buffalo sophomore Jaret Patterson decided to put in an even bigger day, coming in just under 300 yards on the ground en route to six touchdowns and a school-record 298 rushing yards yards.
He set the Mid American record for rushing touchdowns in a game and became UB’s single-season rushing record holder. Jaret also Patterson also broke Buffalo’s single-game rushing record, and Tied Lockport Lou. Hartwick’s school record of six touchdowns in a game.
Showing the depth of the Buffalo’s backfield Kevin Marks added 107 yards and a TD on 14 carries, which puts him over the 1000 yard mark on the season.
UB had the six wins needed to be bowl eligible but the victory moved them towards the top of a Mid American Conference pile that has eight eligible teams for five bowl tie-ins.
UB could have a bowl game announcement coming out before the Mid American Conference Championship between Central Michigan and Miami.
