Bulls take on Western Michigan

In a season when the MAC, as a whole, is as good top to bottom as it has been in years, WMU is at the Bottom.

But unlike previous years the “bottom” of the MAC is a team that is in the top 250 RPI nationally and who was nearly a 500 team out of conference.

So beyond the fact that UB needs to win every game big to keep moving up in the polls, add the pressure that WMU has moments where they are genuinely pretty solid, if they could cobble together 40 minutes of their best game the Bronco’s could make things difficult for Buffalo.

After all, they lead the all time series 14-13 and lead the series in Kalamazoo 7-5.

The Broncos are coming off a 77-85 loss to Toledo on Saturday, in the loss WMU found real balance scoring with four players hitting double figures.

Two big names to watch out for against the WMU is Michael Flowers who dropped 21 in the loss to Toledo. On the season he is averaging 16.6 ppg and has scored in double figures in 10 straight.

Besides Flowers Seth Dugan needs to be watched, he has collected his 6th double-double of the season.

Tipoff is at 7:00 on ESPN+
