2018 BRuWPEG - It’s Back Baby

Like Back Street Boys, It’s Back Baby! Bull Run Weekly Pick ‘Em Game or BRuWPEG. Happy to drive this again. This game was started in 2010 with Jeff Quinn under the helm. Many of us had no idea what the season would entail. Let me revisit that year, pain and misery! I decided to get input, predictions, and have some fun. I created the Bull Run Weekly Pick ‘Em Game or for the cool people, just BRuWPEG.

The game is very easy for you to compete in. No entry fee. All you have to do each week before kick-off is leave your prediction on the 2018 Bull Run Weekly Pick ‘Em Game thread. Pick the winner and what each teams points will be.

For example, if you want to enter all you do is reply to the article with what you believe the score of the game. For example: Buffalo 42 Delaware 13.

The veteran pickers do appreciate your in-depth analysis or amusing tidbits. Tiebreaker at the end of week and year is based on the best/funniest comments when picking if needed. I do have the final say for the tie-breaker as to the best comment. This caused some controversy in the past. I hope to cause some more this year

Prizes for winner? Nothing. If you do win a weekly prize, you receive free two mugs of ChubbyHubbies homemade brew at any home game, a firm handshake, and multiple pats on the backside! No guarantee where on the backside.

If you are one of those people who need the rules, first good luck. Not even a UB degree will help you deceiver this riddle. If you are a real man or woman, this is when you stop reading and give the score and feedback as why you are going to win. I typically put each week match up by Monday morning. Remember this is MACtion where games are midweek. Don’t forget!

Score Prediction Points:

Predict both teams’ correctly ~ 5 points + all other point totals.

Predict only one of the teams’ score correctly ~ 3 points.

Predict the team’s points +/- 3 - 1 point.

Total Points:

Add total picks, if same total as final, 3 points. *

Add your picks together and +/- 6 points, 1 point.

Your score does not have to be the same as final to achieve 3 points.

For example, UB 24 + Delaware 21 = 45. 3 points given for UB 35 +Delaware 10 = 45

The highest score you can achieve in one week is 15. All picks must be on the board before kick-off. As soon as the ball is in the air, no more entries will be added. I will try to be as diligent as possible to update throughout the week with picks and provide the wining results as soon as I can. I welcome any changes or additions if they are not logical.
