Bulls Beat Robert Morris 86-70

CJ Massinburg scored 23 points and five other Bulls managed double figures as the Bulls downed the Robert Morris Colonials 86-70, despite not scoring a single point during the last 3:13 of the game.

The two teams played a very close game through the first 10 minutes but at 9:36 Nick Perkins fed Davonta Jordan for a three point shot that would spur a 10-0 UB run which put the 19-16 game comfortably in the UB column.

The Colonials would make a mini run, to get back to within five, but UB closed out the half strong and took a 46-30 lead into the locker room.

UB came out strong in the second half and upped their lead to 22 points within the first three minutes of the period.

At 12:19 Massinburg hit a layup put the Bulls up by 26 points and by the time there were a hair more than three minutes left in the game Buffalo had pushed their lead to a game high 27 points (86-57).

With the big lead UB started to sub in more from the bench and Robert Morris managed to get some of the defict back, While the Colonials scores 13 poits in the last 2:57 while the Bulls were scoreless.

Next up for Buffalo is a trip to Syracuse for a 7:00 game on Tuesday the 19th.
