Buffalo Bulls Basketball court design implementation is nearly complete

So the new Basketball Court is nearing completion. Aside from the final finish it's done and we have a look at what people will be seeing at UB Basketball games this year.

My first impression. It's ok but I do not like it as much as the old floor.

The "Bull"

The new Bull grows on me a little more each time I see it. It's an improvement over the old logo and a huge step up from the "horn" logo used a decade ago. It fits really well on the court and the blue pops

It's ok. I guess...

The center court is very vanilla, but what are you going to do? I mean if I had my druthers I would have left the state outline there and just put a big blue star over Buffalo. That fits with the whole "New Yorks Public Powerhouse" identity.

Speaking of "New Yorks Public Powerhouse". I'm not loving it on the court. I would have preferred something like "New York State's Powerhouse". Because we are the best school in the state system and that wording pops. Whenever I hear "public powerhouse" it feels like we are reaching.

Anyway that's my two cents. What say you?
