Tyler Grassman, the number 161 rated recruit in the state of Ohio by the service MaxPreps, has committed to play for the the Buffalo Bulls. He will be introduced at UB's Annual in depth review of their recruiting class live at the Buffalo Center for the Arts and Streamed on-line. The event starts Wednesday at 5:00.
Grassman, while scouted as a kicker and punter also served as his teams Quarterback. Knowing that Coach Quinn likes to run the occasional off the wall fake it's nice to think of a punter back there who can throw a tight pass. Losing Peter Fardon leaves a hole in the special teams depth chart that Grassman might take during his freshman year.
His work in 2011 did get him some district awards. He was named the OCC-Ohio Player of the Year, 1st Team all district kicker, 1st team all conference Quarterback, and 1st Team all conference Kicker 2011.
Here is some video of Grassman from an article about his earlier verbal commitment to Buffalo
