Like Men's Tennis, Women's Rowing is another sport that has enjoyed consistent success at UB. Buffalo finished 2nd in 2009 and 2011 in the CAA in Rowing and won the CAA in 2010.
In 2012, the Rowing team was nationally recognized with a #6 preseason ranking:

Coach Rudy Wieler who build the program over eleven years announced that the 2012 season would be his last.
