Thomas-Edwards was also a member of the British U-18 Team that played in the European Championships. He was his team’s leading scorer and rebounder, averaging 10 points and 7.9 rebounds over the seven-game tournament.

Raphell is a very versatile player who has the potential to help us in a number of different ways. He has quick feet and is explosive. His international experience will accelerate his development. -- Reggie Witherspoon

Thomas-Edwards will joins a veteran UB squad that returns 10 letterwinners, including four starters, to a team that went 20-14 last season, making it deep into the CBI tournament.
