NFL Draft 2019 Buffalo Bulls Center James O’Hagan signs as a UDFA with the Giants

NCAA Football: Buffalo at Rutgers Noah K. Murray-USA TODAY Sports

James O’Hagan, the four year starter and anchor of UB’s offensive line has signed as an undrafted free agent with the New York Giants.

At Buffalo

O’Hagan came to Buffalo rather than take up several college wrestling scholarships and after using a red shirt in 2014 went on to start 50 straight games for the Bulls. Not just as the leader of the offensive line but one of the key voices that set the tone for the entire team.

Every season after his 2015 debut O’Hagans name was on the preseason Rimington Trophy watch list which is is awarded to the player considered to be the best center in college football.

Looking Forward

It will be tough to break in as an undrafted free agent but O’Hagan has a lot of the tools to do it, and the build.
