Rockford IL's Paige Yoder verbally commits to UB Volleyball

I have been patiently waiting for years for UB volleyball to have a player who has the same first name as me, and now apparently they will have such a player. As I said way back on September 28, 2014, "Both opponents this weekend had a player with the same first name as this author. I’m pretty sure that has never happened before in UB Volleyball history. I look forward to a day when the Bulls have a player with my first name."

Paige Yoder has committed to UB volleyball. Yoder comes from Keith HS in Rockford, IL, where she plays right-side. She is currently a senior at Keith, and so she will join the Bulls in 2018. She has not played a lot of high school volleyball due to injuries and transfer rules, but this summer she attended a volleyball camp hosted by UB and was offered a scholarship by UB. She said: "I had chills at that moment. It was just an amazing feeling. Throughout the camp I was just talking with the (Buffalo) girls and they were so amazing and the coaches are awesome. I’m going to enjoy this and it’s going to be my home."

Yoder is also a state champion in the long jump.

Welcome to Paige Yoder.
