Buffalo Bulls 2016 Basketball Schedule Updates

The Buffalo Bulls are attempting to become the first Mid-American Conference team to three-peat as MAC tournament champions. UB returns a heap of talent and should be considered, if not the favorite, a strong contender for the title.

In this calendar, we will be tracking all 2016-2017 events. So far only the football and known basketball games are present but it will be populated throughout the summer.

Games -

Buffalo at Xavier

The Buffalo Bulls will be making a trip to Cincinnati, Ohio for a date with the Xavier Musketeers next season. The tweet came from Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports. It will be the first time the Bulls and Musketeers have ever played each other.

At Saint Bonaventure - This is the third in a 2:2 between the teams, Buffalo will host the Bonnies next season.

At Robert Morris - This is the third in a 2:2 between the teams, Buffalo will host the Colonials at some point in the future.

Bulls vs Canisius

Bulls vs Canisius

The Big 4 Classic is back this season the rumored opponent is Canisius and the date I've heard is a Saturday in the middle of December.

This was broken by Andy Young of Time Warner.

The interest here is, of course, that the Canisius College Golden Griffins are led by long-time Buffalo coach Reggie Witherspoon. After being let go by Buffalo he assisted at Alabama and Chattanooga. When the Griffs lost their coach in May they responded by hiring someone well known in the community.

Nazareth (DII) at Buffalo - Via Twitter Nazareth Basketball confirmed exhibition game vs D1 University of Buffalo Nov 17 2016 at UB.

Buffalo At Pitt

Anyone got a time machine and up for a trip to 2006? UB fans will get the next best thing, as the Buffalo Bulls will face off against Pittsburgh on December 7th for a matchup with the ACC's Panthers, according to Pittsburgh's schedule release this afternoon. It will be the tenth meeting of the two teams and comes 100 years after the series-opening game, a UB victory.
