Indianapolis activates Defensive End Kristjan Sokoli

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

The Indinapolis Colts hae activated lineman Kristjan Sokoli off of their practice squad.

After playing defensive line for four seasons in College, Sokoli was somewhat famously flipped to the offensive side of the ball in Seattle. At his UB pro day Kristjan put up freakishly great numbers and the Seahawks hoped that athleticism would make for a solid NFL lineman.

But Sokoli only appeared on a single game for Seattle, and he didn’t progress as quickly as other projects on the O-line. Finally, after the preseason, the Seahawks cut him and he headed to Indianapolis as a member of the Colts practice squad.

In Indianapolis, Sokoli stepped back onto defense. He replaced defensive end Sterling Bailey and became the only end on the Colt’s practice squad.
