First we give the NFL Mack now we fix their schedules

Monday the group of engineers presented a study called "Alleviating Competitive Imbalances in NFL Schedules" at the prestigious MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference in Boston. The presentation came after the group spent more then a year researching and developing a mathematical formula aimed at eliminating a disadvantage for teams playing opponents coming off a bye week or Thursday night game. The study found that from 2002-to-2014 the Buffalo Bills played more games against "rested" opponents than any other team in the NFL. That schedule put the Bills at a disadvantage.
