Timothy T. Ludwig-USA TODAY Spor

This past Sunday Khalil Mack was honored, along with Swimming and Diving standout Brittney Kuras, as the UB Athletics Athletes of the Year.

Mack is a projected first round draft choice, and is a possible first overall pick. Among the many honors he won this season was the Mid-American Conference Defensive Player of the Year and the Jack Lambert Award winner. He came in second in the voting for Butkus Award.

The Fort Pierce, FL native led the conference in sacks with 10.5 and tackles for loss with 19 to go along with a team-best 100 tackles. He also led the Bulls with three interceptions and five forced fumbles. He broke the NCAA record for career forced fumbles with 16 and tied the NCAA mark with 75 career tackles for loss.

Outside of the UB hall of fame I don't think there is anything else for Mack to do at Buffalo. So his last award as a Bull is a chance to look back at his first ;)

After losing to UCF 24-10 back in 2010 the season David won't let me talk about Bull Run did its post game grades.

"Linebackers B+ Same regard for their ability to contain Godfrey, and Khalil Mack sacking Godfrey without a helmet.. That's a highlight film moment."

Fans of the site, and we were far fewer in number back in 2010 the season David won't let me mention voted Mack the game ball winner.
