The Bobcats are adjusting rather poorly in the post-Solich era, and their backs are up against the wall if they want to see the post-season. They have yet to play some of the better MAC teams and they are already at five losses.

For Buffalo, this is the start of a three-game run which could make or break the first season under Maurice Linguist. Run the table on these next three and you hit the final quarter of the season at 5-4, needing only to snipe one game to get bowl eligible. Or drop one of the next three and face having to beat two games out of Ball State, NIU, and Miami.
