NCAA realignment regional, Coaches hot seats, MAC Basketball Television Schedule

Not really a MAC story but the rumors that some are pushing for the AAC, SBC, and CUSA to “regionalize” may knock over dominoes that hit the MAC. After all if you have a north easter pod, Buffalo is prime.

But don’t worry kids, it’s not going to happen. This is CUSA trying to stay alive in a world where the AAC and SBC are setting the table for dinner.

If you read our power rankings you know Ohio lost to CMU, and things are starting to get a bit dicey for the coaching staff in Athens. Tim Albin is now in the top 20 according to Coaches hot seat. But don’t throw too much stock in that they have Scot Loeffler ranked in the top 20 as well, and despite their record, he’s doing enough foundation laying at Bowling Green to be safe for a year or two.

WMU just inked a game with Ohio State in 2024, those are always nice for the Budget. The Bulls money game that year is at Missouri.

The MAC finalized their TV schedule for hoops this year. So, kind of Buffalo-related.
