For the second straight week Antone Taylor was a force to be reckoned with. The Junior ran for more than 200 yards and scored three thouchdowns. Taylor was unable to play a late series and his earlier efforts were not enough for the UB Bulls to beat Bowling Green as the Bulls fell to 3-3 on the season and 1-1 in conference play.

Buffalo had a 35-30 lead and were driving for the coup de grâce when they failed twice to get one yard needed for a first. Those plays were followed by a missed Patrick Clarke Field goal which sealed UB's fate.

It was back and fourth all day but a 24 minute scoring drought by Buffalo allowed the Falcons to turn an 8 point defect into a a small lead late in the third quarter. Early in the fourth Taylor scored his third touchdown of the game on a 12 yard run.

UB forced a punt and was driving to extend their lead when Clarke missed the field goal. On the next UB possession they went four and out which effectively ended the game.

Bowling Green moved to 4-2 on the season and a 2-0 record in the conference. Next week Buffalo plays the Eastern Michigan Eagles in Ypsi.
