CBS is reporting that UB Sophomore Raphell Thomas-Edwards is looking to transfer away from the University following the coaching change which saw Bobby Hurley replace Reggie Witherspoon. McPhail is the only Bull on JJeff Goodman's running list of college basketball players looking to change schools.
Edwards came to Buffalo from England wher he attended The Gateway School and played for the Leicester Warriors. Before coming to the US he played a stint with the British U-18 Team that played in the European Championships.
As a freshman in 2011-2012 He come of the bench in eight games and scored his first career basket at BYU.
This past season he averaged 11 minutes a game but had a huge presense in the MAC tournament where he put up 31 minutes against Ball State scoring eight points including going 2-4 from beyond the arch.
The departure is the second, after Andre McPhail announced his intention to leave the team soon after Reggie Witherspoons dismissal,
No word yet on where Thomas-Edwards will be going next year.
