CBS is reporting that UB Freshman Andre McPhail is looking to transfer away from the University following this season. McPhail is the only Bull on Jeff Goodman's running list of college basketball players looking to change schools.
The Freshman started started 2011 at La Jolla Prep where he played 25 games averaging 14 points and 10 rebound per contest. He then transferred to Stoneridge Prep in January played 11 games for the Wildcats averaging 7.2 points, 8.2 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game..
This past season for Buffalo the freshman saw minutes in 10 games with his outing coming against Milwaukee where he came in and went 2-3 in just two minutes of play.
The departure comes after Shannon Evans, a UB commitment stayed with Buffalo after reconsidering his choice in the wake of the Reggie Witherspoon departure.
No word yet on where McPhail will be going next year.
