Buzz before he arrived: A Rivals 3-Star recruit, Houston was a Turner Gill post MAC Championship coup..

His Journey: From Piedmont, South Carolina, Houston redshirted his first year at UB, but never missed another game of UB football. Houston has appeared in all 47 games he has been eligible to play in and has started in 21. Houston earned the starting job halfway through 2012 and never relinquished his spot. Houston recorded 130 tackles, 9.5 tackles for a loss, 3 sacks, 2 Interceptions and 1 TD as a Bull.

Debut Performance: As a redshirt freshman, Houston recorded 2 tackles against Rhode Island in 2010.

Breakout Performance: In 2011, down 28-13 late in the second quarter against Miami, Houston snagged his first career interception to give the offense a chance to get back in the game.

Senior Moment: Houston scooped up a Khalil Mack forced fumble and

Future: UB has had success sending DBs to the NFL, Davonte Shannon, Gemara Williams, Josh Thomas, Mike Newton and Mark Graham have found themselves on NFL rosters after their UB career.
