Ball State 31 Central Michigan 27 " Over The Pylon
Based on the last post I put up, you’d think I wouldn’t have spent Saturday’s games on pins and needles as the Cardinals got down early, stormed back late, and held on in the final moments to win another MAC contest against the Central Michigan Chippewas.

Alabama 37 Tennessee 6 - When The Levee Breaks - Rocky Top Talk
There is nothing good about any loss to Alabama, especially not the second consecutive 31 point beating. It was almost exactly the same thing that happened last year, when the Vols trailed 13-10 at halftime and then got destroyed by big plays in the second half. The difference this time was the Vols didn't just break one big play in the first half, as Tauren Poole did in Knoxville last year. Tennessee wasn't tied with Bama at halftime because they were lucky. The Vols played toe-to-toe with Alabama for thirty minutes.
Initial Impressions from the Tennessee Game - Roll 'Bama Roll
It wouldn't quite be the same for this Alabama football team if it weren't for an ugly first half, would it? 'Bama took its usual slow start to the extreme last night in Tuscaloosa, logging what was easily the worst performance of the season in the first half against the Vols. The running game was largely bottled up, AJ McCarron was missing badly, the red zone offense stalled, the defense allowed Tauren Poole success on the ground, and a mental miscue on special teams gifted the Vols three points on a fake punt. Almost on cue, though, the team came out of the locker room reinvigorated by the disappointment of their own performance and summarily annihilated Tennessee on short notice in the second half. There has perhaps not been an Alabama team in recent memory that has followed such a predictable, routine script as this one. Disappointment early, destruction late.

"We saw they were jumping the hitches the first couple of drives and stuff," Tettleton said. "Coach (Frank) Solich was the one that called that play. He said, ‘Let’s go hitch and go.’ I knew they were going to bite if I gave them a pump fake and if LaVon ran a good route, and that’s what happened."

Temple Football Forever: Shallow Owl
So far, we've had two coaching staffs fall in love with Chester. One, led by Al Golden, was hit over the head during the first quarter of last year's Bowling Green game after a pick six and pulled Chester in favor of Mike Gerardi. Stewart never saw the field again in 2010.
FalconBlog--Triumphs and Trials in the BGSU Falcon Nation: Leather Helmet Football FTW
It was apparently throwback day at the Doyt yesterday, as the Falcons hosted Temple with the Falcons riding a 3-game losing streak. Temple boasts a very good defense, allowing the second fewest points in FBS, and I don't mind telling you that I feared this wasn't a very good match up for us. I was incredibly proud of how the team played and this was a huge win for the rebuilding of our program.

Back in the lineup for Toledo were senior RB Adonis Thomas, junior LB Dan Molls and junior safety Jermaine Robinson. Thomas broke free for a 67-yard rush on his first carry since breaking his arm vs. Syracuse on Sept. 24. Molls was in the lineup for the first time since the season opener on Sept. 1 and had five tackles. Robinson, who missed one game with a broken arm, finished with three tackles and two pass breakups.

EMU 14, Western Michigan 10: Michigan MAC champions! " Eagle Totem
The first half went by very quickly, taking barely more than an hour, and it fit EMU’s game plan to a "T". Midway through the first quarter, EMU went for it on 4th-and-1 from the Western Michigan 5-yard line. At the time I thought it was a mistake — it seemed like it was going to be a low scoring game where each team would need to take any points they could get, however they came — and it very nearly was, but EMU’s defense was able to repeatedly stop what had been a potent Bronco offense.
