From the lineup that was tweeted out today we've found out the name of Men's Tennis' newest member: Artur Culicovschi. Artur hails from Bucharest, Romania.

How did I miss this yesterday? Great question. Western Michigan is the favorite, deservedly so. I am particularly surprised to see the Bulls above Northern Illinois.

Barberic is now a two-time All-WNY First Teamer and had 83 points in this season alone.

Matt Brown, who had a successful professional playing career in the UK for clubs such as: Sholing FC, Romsey Town FC and Eastleigh FC, has been added to the Men's Soccer coaching staff. Matt will oversse UB"s goaltenders. Welcome to Buffalo, Matt!

Cribbin won the shot put and weight throw and Crimmins the mile in UB's season opening meet. In the mile and shot put each boast a MAC-leading mark right now.

Jake Gunning was ranked 3rd in the MAC behind nationally ranked Blaize Cabell of Northern Iowa and Gage Hutchison of Eastern Michigan (who Gunning already beat). The redshirt freshman is currently 11-7 on the season.

Her mother talked to me, and asked if we would be able to work around her dance schedule, and I said that wouldn’t be a problem. Then, I saw her jump, her flexibility and the way she warmed up. I knew she could be special." A two-time state selection, Slavoski has been chosen as the 2015 Times Leader Girls’ Volleyball Player of the Year. "We had high expectations as a team this year," she said. "We had five hitters on the court, and that’s something that doesn’t happen all the time. It was great. We set some pretty lofty goals for our team."

South Range senior right-hander Greg Dunham joined Crestview lefty Michael McDonough (who signed with Ohio State) as a Division I recruit when Dunham signed a national letter of intent on November 16 to continue his athletic and academic careers at the University of Buffalo. "It's great to know that I have a place to play in college heading into this season," Dunham said. "I didn't want to have that hanging over me. Now I can just focus on baseball."

Juszczak is a goalie for Starpoint with experience on the wider club circuit with the Empire Revs. Not a whole lot else out there, unfortunately.

If past years are any indication, we'll learn of a few more names in the spring, but for now we've got four names we've expected and one new one in Andrea Ernst, Katie Burns, Anna Vitolins, Grace Baumer, and Joey Puglessi.

Grant also qualified for the US Olympic Trials in 2012.

"This is great for Justin and our program," UB head coach John Stutzman said. "Just to know guys are reaching high levels out of our room is great for UB wrestling."
