Buffalo Men’s Basketball’s non-conference schedule is coming together at a very quick pace. The newest scheduling news broke on Saturday morning that the Bulls will take on West Virginia in Morgantown next season per Jon Rothstein.
West Virginia will host Buffalo as part of its 2018-19 non-conference schedule, per a source.

Led by Bob Huggins, the Mountaineers are coming off a strong 26-11 (11-7 Big 12 Conference) campaign led by Jevon Carter. West Virginia made it all the way to the Sweet 16 this season in the NCAA Tournament before getting bounced by Villanova, the eventual national champions.
Although Carter graduates this season, the Mountaineers are expected to return a ton of talent and be a top-25 team next year. It surely helps that WVU’s style of basketball — a vicious full court press — isn’t hurt by graduation.
The game will be the first time Buffalo squares off with WVU since UB’s first-ever NCAA Tournament berth. The Bulls overcame a gigantic deficit but fell just short, 68-62. With the amount of talent UB brings back at guard, there’s a solid opportunity for a Buffalo win here.
