Buffalo Bulls Men’s Basketball have released yet another strenuous non-conference schedule. The 2017-18 season will feature trips to basketball strongholds Syracuse and Texas A&M and unlike last year will have a decent amount of home games before the Bulls open conference play.

Observations
I’m already a much bigger fan of this schedule compared to last year because there’s more home, especially since most of them are coming after the Cayman Islands Classic.
It appears that the Big 4 classic is no more and definitely only returned because Buffalo held a round of NCAA Tournament games last season. The good news is the Bulls will get two of the games on home court as opposed to none last season.
Although I’m not a fan of scheduling Division II Central Penn, it seems like it can’t be avoided for mid-major and minor conferences these days. If you want more home games, chances are you’ll have to schedule outside of the division. But, let’s be honest, this game probably isn’t that different than playing a bottom-feeder like Coppin State.
