257 sports is reporting that Dallas Baker will come to Buffalo to join the staff of Maurice Linguist.
Baker, who was a receiver at Florida, looks to be UB’s new receiving coach. He recently coached at Marshall in the same role.
In his four seasons at Marshall He spent four seasons guiding the Thundering Herd receivers. In 2017 and 2018, he mentored two-time first-team All-Conference USA pick Tyre Brady, who became the first Herd player to eclipse 1,000 yards receiving since Tommy Shuler in 2014.
Baker was on the market because Marshall cleaned house in January, letting Doc Holliday go after ten years with the program.
Before coaching Baker did stints in the NFL (winning a Superbowl with the Steelers), Arena league, and in the Canadian football league.
Looks to be another solid find for Linguist as he tries to cobble together a staff in record time at Buffalo.
