It didn’t take the Bulls long to get on the scoreboard at Central Michigan. A lead-off homerun in the first inning by senior left fielder Anna Aguon not only put the Bulls ahead, but it was the team’s 37th homerun of the season, breaking the previous single season homerun record, with 14 games remaining. The Bulls would go on to beat Central Michigan 10–1 to make their season record 12–27.

In the second inning, junior catcher Olivia Kincannon would blast a three run homer, and junior center fielder Alexis Matheney would hit a solo homer in the fourth inning. Sophomore pitcher Alexis Lucyshyn (pictured above), who leads the team in home runs with 9, would rip a RBI single in the eighth inning. Lucyshyn picked up two wins in two consecutive games.

The Bulls begin a six-game homestand on Wednesday, April 28 at 1pm against Kent State. All home games are streamed live on YouTube.
