Clinging to the number 25 spot with two home games UB needed big wins, and boy did they get them.
With an 80 to 57 win over Kent State UB completed a 2-0 week with a total margin of victory of 70 points. Last nights game also put UB alone atop the MAC because Bowling Green lost on the road to Ohio.
The game started out slow for UB, the Bulls were unable to find a rhythm and shooting poorly from three. They were playing close with Kent but on the wrong side of the score.
Then, in the last 1:18 of the first half, UB changed the game for good. An amazing series of events move the Bulls from down two, to up 8. Perkins scored 8 of his game high 27 points in 75 seconds.

A Nick Perkins 3.
A Bulls Steal.
A Nick Perkins put back two.
An inbounds steal by Jordan.
A HUGE Graves put back Dunk over the defense.
A drawn charge.
A Nick Perkins Banked in 3.
The momentum generated here carried through the half and the Bulls pressure led to multiple rebounds and second chance points in the second half.
It was a treat for the 6,688 in attendance, the biggest numbers since the old wooden bleachers were taken down more than 13 years ago.
The Bulls will close out their three-game homestand against Akron on Tuesday.
