Buffalo is finishing up their non conference slate, and their games against Big4 competition. These two teams met last year in Olean and Buffalo walked out with an 80-62 victory. If UB manages a win this year it will first time that UB beat all three teams in one year since the late 90’s.

Thus far against the Big4 it’s been Davonta Jordan carrying most of the weight. He was named the MAC East Player of the Week following last weeks wins. Jeenathan Williams is also starting to come into his own. The Sophomore racked up his first career double-double in the win over Niagara.

Saint Bonaventure is going to be a very good test for Buffalo. The Bonnies, addled by injury, started the season off very slowly, even dropping a game to Canisius, but they have bounced back after that loss, rolling off seven straight wins.

Both Schools are in the 120’s according to Kenpom and both schools are 8-4.

A big part of the resurgence is the return of Osun Osunniyi. The 6’10” center was injured in the Bonnies home opener and missed most of November. Since coming back he leads Saint Bonaventure in rebounds and blocks.

Another player of note is guard Kyle Lofton, who leads the Bonnies in points, assists, and steals.

Tipoff is at 7:00 and the game is on ESPN+
