UB’s game notes now include a depth chart so I thought it might be interesting to quickly go over areas of hope and concern based on the teams experience. Green is last years starter, blue is last years backup, and yellow is a player not on the two deep at the end of last season.
- Concern: We have a new long snapper and a new holder on the team. While Jeremiah Riordan might be rocking the best last name ever (no relation) he’s never snapped a ball for UB before. On the other end is Kyle DeWeen who did not have place holder duties last season.
- Hope: four of the five UB starters on the line were starters last sesaon, the fifth was a backup who was a backup at the postion last season.
- Concern: Our tight end, running back, and two receivers are not returning starters. Only Holsey and Tyree Jackson are returning offensive skill starters.
- Hope: Two of our three linebackers are returning starters. Only Jordan Collier did not start at the end of last season.
