After catching the pass which won last year’s Grey Cup, Ernest Jackson became one of the CFL’s biggest name free agents. He is coming off of his second season of 80 plus catches and 1000 plus yards.

Montreal was able to ply Jackson away frm the Ottawa REDBLACKS. The A’s are the third team that Jackson has played with in his CFL career.

In the two seasons he played for Ottawa the Buffalo alumnus caught 172 receptions for 2,261 yards, hauling in 15 touchdowns. Ten of those last season.

Before playing in Ottawa has was a depth receiver for the BC Lions.

Throwing to Jackson in Montreal is another first year Alouette, Darian Durant. Durant had spent his entire 10 year career in Saskatchewan. He won two Grey Cups and most recently was throwing to Naaman Roosevelt with the Roughriders.

There is little doubt that Jackson makes the starting rotation and will be a big part of the offense.
