Justin Winters signs on as a Maryland Coach

On of the best UB linebackers of all time, and that’s pretty elite company, is Justin Winters. Winters had a key role in UB defeating #12 Ball State to win the 2008 MAC Championship.

That endeared him to UB fans. Several years ago David Brand had a pretty nice interview with Winters when he was establishing himself as a coach with St. Vincent Pallotti.

This past year two of his products, that Patterson Brothers, signed with UB. Both players had offers from multiple FBS schools.

Winters is now taking the next step on his coaching Journey. He has been hired at the University of Maryland as a Recruiting Analyst.

Congratulations to Coach Winters. Hopefully this is the beginning of a long and successful coaching career, hopefully with a destination on the UB sidelines.
