Bulls 2018 Schedule Opponents Announced

NCAA Football: Buffalo at Army Danny Wild-USA TODAY Sports

With the release of the MAC conference schedule we now know exactly who UB will be playing next season.

First the out of conference, which we’ve known for awhile

UB opens up 2018 at home against FCS opponent Delaware State. Then back to back road games against Rutgers in New Jersey and Temple in Philadelphia. Finally a home matchup against Army to complete non conference play.

I think Temple is going to be the biggest road block (They have owned us since the Hail Mary) but Rutgers will be better next season and Army is always tricky. So while a healthy UB team has a shot of going 4-0 against this slate a few mistakes could easily have us at 1-3.

Then we get to conference play, for which we don’t have any dates.

Our home games are Akron, Kent, Miami, and EMU while our road games are going to be Toledo, Ohio, Bowling Green, and Central Michigan.

This is a really rough road draw. Toledo is the defending MAC champion while Ohio and Central are both bowl teams this year who manage consistent success. Bowling Green is the should win game of the lot.

At home I think three wins is likely, and four is very possible.

So all together, if everyone stays healthy, I would think seven wins should be the floor for next season and I’d say 10 would be the ceiling. With Toledo, CMU, and Temple being the games I feel are the biggest hurdles.
