With the 2016-2017 UB athletics season officially underway Matt and I are back once again to bring you all the latest news, notes, analysis and commentary on all things UB Olympic Sports. For those of you new to the site, our podcast covers all of UB's non-revenue sports (ie., not football and basketball). Matt and I have been doing these weekly podcasts during the school year for the past 2 and a half years and we're excited for this coming year.
We'll be talking about the Women's Soccer team's performance in their opening weekend in State College, PA where they saw two opponents that were in the NCAA tournament last season. The first two games are a good measuring stick of where the team is and what our expectations should be going forward.
On the men's side, Stu Riddle's squad is halfway through their exhibition schedule and the Bulls look poised for a big season offensively. We'll be recapping the first two exhibitions and what to look for Monday night when Rochester comes to town.
Finally, we'll be chatting about the Volleyball Blue and White scrimmage which community member Paige Miller attended and wrote a FanPost on. We'll be comparing Paige's notes with our preseason expectations and predictions.
