This Weekends Baseball Rooting Interest

Buffalo kicks off a big series against Kent State. It's a tall order going on the road against the conferences best team but getting swept by Kent would put the Bulls in a very difficult position. They are currently in a four way tie for eighth place along with Ohio, Toledo, and Bowling Green. UB is also a game behind Western and Central Michgian.

So besides beating Kent at least one time what should UB fans be rooting for this weekend?

Toledo at Northern Illinois - an NIU sweep and UB's 2-1  season opening series against Toledo would go a long way towards putting the Bulls ahead of the Rockets for good.

EMU at Ball State - Both teams are too far ahead of UB to be caught  and the Bulls lost their series to each team by a 2-1 count. I say root for EMU because they are not Ball State

Western Michigan  at Miami - A RedHawks sweep keeps the Bronco's barely in Buffalo's firing range.

Central Michigan at Ohio - A sweep by CMU would go a long way twoards helping Buffalo.
