Sunday Morning Open Thread: Khalil Mack Pro Bowl Day

Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY Sports

It's Sunday. Enjoy the end of the weekend, if you can make it without football.

The Pro Bowl doesn't count. Just watch Mack highlights instead of waiting for them today.

The Rundown

Today in Bull: *Men's Tennis can extend their win streak to four with a win over Boston College *Women's Tennis' matches this weekend are abbreviated for God knows what reason, but they get two today against UConn and Bryant

Yesterday's News: Men's Tennis beat Yale for the first time ever, and also Monmouth. Women's Tennis beat MAAC power Quinnipiac. Brian Crimmins posted the third school record of the Track and Field weekend. Women's Swimming and Diving topped Toledo, while the Men beat West Virginia but fell to top-15 programs Michigan and Ohio State.

Women's Basketball lost a heartbreaker despite a career high 31 and 14 from Jo Smith. Men's Basketball jumped out big and held on late for a big road win over Toledo.

From the Fanshots: I told you to watch some Mack highlights, and you can get the best of the best from 2015, courtesy of the NFL. UB Football lost yet another member of its 2016 recruiting class, as Max Bortenschlager committed to Maryland while on an official visit to College Park.

On the Docket: We'll have recaps from the weekend finishers for both Men's and Women's Tennis, we'll have takeaways from both Saturday basketball games, and John and I will be on late tonight with the Olympic Sports Rundown Podcast.

I'm scared to write any more recruiting pieces, lest someone else decommit.

Elsewhere:

Two UB Medical students have started a warm clothing drive to combat frostbite and reduce frostbite-related amputations.

UB Football offered Vero Beach (Fl) QB Carson Proctor this week and have him on campus for an official this weekend. Makes you wonder if they saw the Bortenschlager decommit coming.

Serena Williams went down in the Australian Open final. Disappointing.

Something something NHL All Star Game.
