Ohio State vs. Wisconsin final score: Buckeyes outlast Badgers, 31-24 - Land-Grant Holy Land
In Braxton Miller's first start after missing 11 quarters due to an injury, the Ohio State quarterback didn't look rusty at all. The offense was firing on all cylinders, for the most part, and while the Buckeyes secondary struggled a bit at times against Wisconsin receiver Jared Abbrederis, the defense was excellent throughout in containing Wisconsin's formidable ground game.

EMU Bye 1 3 MAC 0 1 at Buffalo

Bye Bye Bye " Eagle Totem Eagle Totem
This is not a good time for a bye week. The team has a bad taste in its mouth after the embarrassing homecoming loss to Ball State. The head coach is one or two more losses away from dusting off his resume and scouring the ranks for open coordinator positions. The fans are outraged and angry, rightfully so. Another disappointing season is laid out before them.

Kent State downs Western Michigan 32-14 - Hustle Belt
As for the Broncos, things are quickly getting worse. Brian Fields ran for 106 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries, but that about all of the good. Tyler Van Tubbergen, in a game without his top wide-receiver this year Core Davis, finished 11-for-23 for 159 yards and a touchdown, but also threw 2 interceptions, including a drive killer with a chance to tie the game up at 22 in the 3rd quarter. His top two targets, Kendrick Roberts and Josh Schaffer, finished with 4 catches each and had 73 yards and 39 yards and a touchdown respectively.

UMass Chancellor Subbaswamy Issues Statement On Accusations Of Player Mistreatment - Hustle Belt
UMass fans and alumni aren't happy with the current state of the Minutemen Football program. They're frustrated with the continued losing, and the more than 20 players who have transferred out since Charley Molnar was hired in December 2011. But now there's a new issue being raised: the possible mistreatment of players. Some alumni and fans recently stumbled across a video of Molnar's unique winter conditioning program he implemented in 2012 and have begun a petition demanding that he and his staff end "the improper treatment of current players".

Illinois 50, Miami (OH) 14: 2012 Is In the Rearview Mirror - The Champaign Room
The Miami (OH) Redhawks are one of the worst teams on the FBS level this year. That being said, the Illini played like you want your team to play against that kind of opponent: efficiently, brutally, and never leaving the game in doubt.

FalconBlog--Triumphs and Trials in the BGSU Falcon Nation: Sweet Victory #4--Overview
BG moved to 4-1 today with a 31-10 victory over the Akron Zips. The game was closer than that might appear, but it was still a clear and convincing victory for the Falcons over an improving Zips club. Here's the key point. BG did not get off to a great start. Less than 10 minutes into the game, the Zips led 14-3. BG had been 3 and out once and had stalled once in the red zone.
