Josh Thomas - Carolina Panthers

Thomas is still looking like a lock for the Carolina Panthers. He looked solid last season and has done himself a service this preseason by Pulling in a pick against Philadelphia.

Third-year cornerback Josh Thomas finished second on the Panthers with seven pass defenses last season, but couldn’t get an interception. He got his first of the preseason Thursday against Philadelphia.

James Starks - Green Bay Packers

Starks' absence from the stat lines this week were not because of Injury. The former Buffalo star did in fact see the field but it was late and he did not get a carry. It's looking like his future with the Packers is in doubt but the conventional wisdom is that if he does not stay in Green Bay Starks will get a chance somewhere else.

James Starks appears to be on the chopping block, as he did not receive a single carry on Friday, and didn't even enter the game until the Packers final drive.

Trevor Scott / Steven Means - Tampa Bay

Trevor Scott showed the skills that made him a fan favorite in Oakland when he broke out three sacks against the Dolphins. Means for his part also got to the Quarterback. There is room on the roster for both players and if they keep playing at this level we all just might become Tampa fans.

Trevor Scott managed three sacks, somehow. He was signed this week and it does look like he's making a quick push to make the roster, and even get some playing time.

Naaman Roosevelt - Cleveland Browns

Roosevelt is hanging on in Cleveland despite a lack of reps. He may continue to stay on the roster through to the regular season.

There's also a chance that someone like WR Naaman Roosevelt sticks around, even though he hasn't had many reps since being signed part-way through training camp.
