NCAA Football National TV Buffalo Bulls and Ohio Bobcats

The team is playing rock solid football, now it's time for the fans to bring it!

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

Well the Bills lost again, and it's getting really old.

Despite the tight loss I am sure most of the people who walked away still had a good time, that's what Bills fans do.

The fan base, and Buffalonians in general are about the best spirited and heartiest people you'll find.

Despite not being a serious NFL power for more than 15 years you never miss Buffalo Bills Elvis and his white billboard guitar. For the avid tailgaters there is always Pinto Ron.

The "Bills Mafia" makes a game at the Ralph one of the most enjoyable experience in sports fandom. Even when the Bills are languishing in an era of mediocrity the fans are the best in the NFL.

Super fans can add that much to the game day experience!

The Bulls have "True Blue" for current students and the "Blue and White"  for donors and Alumni but we don't have a "Bulls Mafia". Maybe it's about time the Bills fans take UB under their wings and helps kick off the BullsMafia!

This week Buffalo has the best setup we have had since 2008. The Bulls are 6-2 and are a game ahead of Ohio and Bowling Green in the race for the MAC East Division title. The Bobcat's are coming Tuesday night for a nationally televised game at UB Stadium.

There are two groups of people who can step up and make Tuesday November 5th a special day for Buffalo!

The first is the UB Student body. This could be the Best Buffalo Bulls team since 1959. They already have more IA wins than any team outside of the 2008 team and a win Tuesday would tie the regular season record set by Willy, Starks, and Roosevelt.

Is this the best UB team in 50 plus years? we will have a far better idea Tuesday night.

Take it from someone who decided not to go to games as a student, You will regret missing games like this when you're out of school. Believe it or not you wont have more time in 10 years than you have right now.

Aside from students and alumni Tuesday provides the Buffalo sports fan to  take note. The Buffalo Bulls have as many wins as the Bills and Sabres combined, they have more western New York talent than either franchise, and unlike either of the other teams they seem destined for the post season this year.

Why not take in some weeknight MACtion?

Buffalo Sports fans you have suffered long enough this season! Tuesday nights game is not about making Buffalo a "College Town". So long as the Bills and Sabres are around UB will not be the dominant force in the area. This year, however, they are playing the most watchable football in the area.

Maybe the BillsMafia can help get the BullsMafia started?

So why not take a day off of being a long suffering yet awesome Bills and come root for the other home team. The parking at UB stadium is free, and the weather should be great.
