NCAA Recruiting - Brandon Crawford Verbals to Buffalo

Another Recruit has given a verbal, for those keeping count that is three within the past week.

With Signing day fast approaching Coach Jeff Quinn is beginning to see more verbals come across his desk. One of the recent commits, Brandon Crawford, has the frame to grow into a solid defensive end at the FBS level.

One week after taking an official visit to Wofford Madison County defensive end Brandon Crawford visited Buffalo, received a scholarship offer and gave a verbal commitment. He was also holding offers from Woffard and Tennessee Tech.

ESPN lists Crawford as a six foot one inch defensive end. He runs the 40-Yard Dash in 4.78 seconds, the 20-Yard Shuttle in 4.79 seconds, and has a vertical jump of 33.9 inches. The figures out to a SPARQ rating of 90.87.

Crawford played for a Madison team that ended up second in the Florida 3a race and he himself earned a spot on the 3A All State team. He will be competing for time on a defensive line that is losing some key components, most notably defensive end Steven Means.
