The Bulls are now the only MAC team without a conference win and two of their games have been at home. Ever since Jarod Oldham went down this team has went from bad to terrible. Aside from Javon McCrea and occasional brilliance by Will Regan there is not a whole lot for fans to see.

Bowling Green is having their own trouble's. Ben Tsuhemoto run's them down in his "Tsuj's Ten"

Fortunately for Reggie Witherspoon’s club, Bowling Green is in a similar tailspin, losing six of its last seven—and the lone win was a 46-44 slop-fest over Eastern Michigan (i.e. BG point guard Jordon Crawford had nine turnovers in the win).

One reason to think UB is going to struggle is their history against Bowling Green's Zone defense. It's given the Bulls fits during some of their recent strong seasons and with no quarterback to run the offense today it's going to be very hard to break the zone without some effective shooting from mid or long range.

But shooting threes has been an exercise in futility lately. The Bulls are just 10 for 57 since conference play and are 5 for 42 in their last two games. The missed shots have often led to quick point the other way as the Bulls transition defense has failed to slow teams down.

In UB's best ball of the month, their 24-2 run against Miami, they too exactly two three point shots. Had they shot at that rate all game long they would have taken only eight shots from beyond the arc, instead they fired away until they finished 5-16 on the game.

So either UB needs to hit range or someone needs to step up to run the offense, otherwise it could be an 0-4 start.
