Know your Bulls: #94 Todd Therrien

Know your Bulls is a countdown to the kick off. If will look at every single UB football player on the roster. When the players number matches the number of days remaining then it's his turn in the spotlight.

Position: Defensive Line

From: Williamsville, New York

Walked on in 2011 and used a red shirt

Therrien played both defensive and offensive line for Williamsville East High School.In 2009 he was named to the All-League 2nd Team as a defensive lineman. In 2010 he was nominated for the "Trench Trophy" which is awarded to the most outstanding lineman in Western New York.

Despite a respectable career with the flames he drew little interest from division one schools so, at just 260 pounds, he decided to walk on at UB. He made the team, and has bulked up to near 300 pounds, on a six foot frame.

It's doubtful he will challenge for a significant role on the defense this season but depending on who things go through the year he may find his way on the depth chart. In a season where UB has so much experience on the line it's far more likely he will be used on special teams.
